At an average height of 13000 feet the 479 km route from Manali to Spiti takes you through dramatic sights of lush wooded slopes to deviate ding to the parched crag deserts. Itinerary
Day 1
Drive from Manali to Kaza (11,980 feet / 8-10 hours)
➢ On arrival at Manali, you will be met, assisted and get driven to Kaza. On arrival at Kaza, check-in at your hotel, evening is free at leisure.
➢ Snubbed by the craggy and serrated foothills on both sides, this morning we will be driving to the district capital of Spiti Valley – Kaza. Enroute visit Rohtang Pass and have breakfast at Maddi. Continue your drive into the isolated and stunning brown-badland landscape and approach Batal for lunch. At 14,931 feet, you will catch your first chill at the Kunzum Pass and then slope into Losar Village, the first hamlet of the Spiti valley.

Day 2
Drive from Kaza to Tabo to Dhankar. Trek to the Dhankar Lake and then Drive to Kaza. Overnight in a Kaza Hotel. (12,800 feet / 4-6 hours)
➢ After breakfast, get driven to Tabo, also known as the ‘Ajanta of the Himalayas’. Tabo is enclosed with the 1010 year-old Tabo Monastery – which is a UNESCO world heritage site and is famous for its ancient paintings that portray the life of The Buddha, and complex portrayals of gods and demons along with life-size effigies of bodhisattvas, in a synthesis of western Tibetan, Indian and Kashmiri styles. After devoting a couple of hours at Tabo, continue your drive towards the Dhankar. Hovering at the elevation of the Spiti and Pin River, in a hidden bowl, is the tiny hamlet of Dhankar. The former capital of the Monarchs of Spiti Valley known as the Nono, who ruled the dust-cultured wildernesses of Spiti Valley. This will take you to the older time and explore the 1200-year-old Dhankar Gompa thatroos tsunsteadily between the battered rocky acmes on the edge of a cliff. If you are not weary then take an hour’s climb above the village to visit the fabulous turquoise Dhankar Tso or Dhankar Lake, which bids views over the valley and towards the twin peaks of Mane Rang (6593 meters).

Day 3
Drive from Kaza to Komik to Langza to Kaza. Overnight in a Kaza hotel. (14,806 feet / 3-4 hours)
➢ After breakfast, get driven to Komik, the highest village of Asia Komik, literally means ‘eye of a snow cock’, and is located at a height of 4513m. This agronomy hamlet has a population of 84 people, living in complete isolation, cut-off from the rest of the world for most parts of the year. Here you can visit the Komik Lundup Chhemo, which is one of the highest monasteries in the world, set in an attractive backdrop. After spending a few hours to another high hamlet of Spiti called as Langza. It a hamlet located at an elevation of 4400 meters and fits to the Sakyapa sect of Tibetan Buddhism. Langza is village having the population of 137 in 33 households. Here you can stroll to the ancient Lang (Temple), which is estimated to be around 1000 years old. At Langza, hike back to the primeval era when Spiti was submerged by the Tethys Sea, as you explore a land very rich with fossils of Marine animals and plants which were here millions of years ago.

Day 4
Drive from Kaza to Ki Monastery to Kibber. Overnight in a Kibber Home stay. (13,779 feet / 3-4 hours)
➢ After breakfast, check-out form the hotel and get driven to the small village of Kibber. On arrival at Kibber, check-in at your home stay. Kibber a narrow valley on the summit of a limestone rock is situated at 4205m which is famous for its motor able connectivity and own pollingstation during elections. From here drive to the ki Gompas where one can observe the houses of large number of Buddhist monks and nuns and a cafeteria. Later, begin the first phase to the Langza hamlet where the reliccreatures of human being of the Tethys Sea, were found.
➢ Dinner & Overnight stay at home stay in Kibber.
Day 5
Drive from Kibber to Chandratal Lake. Overnight in Camps. (14,000 feet / 5-6 hours)
➢ After breakfast, check-out form the hotel and get driven to the incredible Chandratal Lake, and a temple at Kunzum La. On arrival at Chandratal, check-in at your camp.
➢ The azure glitter lake here will leave you enthralled and was said to be the echo of the stunning snow-capped peaks. After capturing the colors of the beautiful Chandratal Lake, we drive to our camping site where a hot dinner under the stare of a million stars and the Milky Way awaits us.
➢ Dinner & Overnight stay at a camp in Chandratal.
Day 6
Drive from Chandratal Lake to Manali. Overnight in a Manali hotel (6,726 feet / 5-7 hours)
➢ After breakfast, check-out form the hotel and get driven to Manali, around the lake gives you a spectacular looks from green to reddish orange, and depart for Manali, En-route towards Manali you will pass the tremendously stunning Rohtang Pass. On arrival at Manali, check-in at your hotel.

Day 7
Depart from Manali / Take an overnight bus to New Delhi.
After breakfast, check-out form the hotel as today you will be departing from Manali to Delhi. Meanwhile your departure, you can explore the town your own and can also buy few things for reminisce later in the afternoon, take bus or car for your journey towards Delhi. You can either take yourself by direct payment or can choose us to operate for you.
